What is the Digestive system?
The human digestive system is a complex serial publication of organs and glands that workes feed. In order to use the food we swallow up, our frame has to extravasate the food dispirited into smaller molecules that it can process; it also has to excrete waste.Most of the digestive organs (like the stomach and intestines) ar tube-like and contain the food as it makes its way through the body. The digestive system is essentially a retentive, twisting tube that runs from the rima oris to the anus, plus a few other organs (like the liver and pancreas) that produce or store digestive chemicals.
What Is the Function of the Digestive System?
The primary function of the digestive system is to break down the food we eat into smaller parts so the body can use them to build and nourish cells and impart energy.

* Mouth
The mouth is the beginning of the digestive tract; and, in fact, digestion starts here when taking the first flake of food.
Chewing breaks the food into pieces that are more easily digested, trance saliva mixes with food to begin the process of breaking it down into a form your body can absorb and use.
* Esophagus
rigid in your throat near your trachea .and it is a long tube that runs from the mouth to the stomach It uses rhythmic, wave-like muscle movements (called peristalsis) to force food from the throat into the stomach. This muscle movement gives us the ability to eat or drink even when were upside-down.
* Stomach
The stomach is a excavate organ, or container, that holds food while it is being mixed with enzymes that get across the process of breaking down food into a useable form.
