The play Fences by August Wilson and the play end of a Salesman by Arthur Miller two portray a family trying to survive on a fixed income. The plays were truly similar with the bigger picture such as the plots and themes and dissimilar through smaller details that are quite significant. to each one play has a different family, in Fences the family is made up of a father Troy, a mother Rose, dickens sons Lyons the oldest and Cory the youngest, and a daughter Raynell. The family in Death of a Salesman is alike to the family in Fences, their family consists of a father Willy, a mother Linda, and two sons blessed the oldest and Biff the youngest. The characters from both plays are indirectly compared, for instance the two youngest sons, Cory and Biff. Cory and Biff were compared through football and their fathers, the contrast between the boys were where they went in life and the relationship they had with their fathers.
Football was a passion for both Cory and Biff, neither of the boys played football past high school, notwithstanding they were both good players. Cory was very driven to play football even when his father constantly disapproved.



Biff didnt have the like drive that Cory had but he still loved the game, it was a lot easier for him to be more interested in football when he had the support from his father. Cory and Biff both inadequacyed to stool something of themselves through football. This never happened for either of the boys because Corys father wouldnt sign text file for a recruiter that came all the way from North Carolina just to grab Cory, as for Biff he never passed his math enlighten which kept him from graduating. Even though the boys didnt make a locomote for themselves out of football they both still treasured the sport, mayhap even more than their own father.
