Cultural Assessment

The assessment opened up my eyes to the fact that I have much more opportunity than I bring to pass to disperse my learning hygienic-nigh different cultures. I am a nanny and the family I work for are of gabardine and Asian descent. Although the boys are unless ¼ Japanese, I see this instant that I should be taking the time to educate them about their heritage because it is part of them and they should embrace it.
I recently had an oppugn for a position in which I would work from home. I would have so much exposure to other cultures because I would be working one-on-one with people from overseas, as well as charities and nonprofit organizations overseas. I am really frenzied about the potential this job would have to expose me to a whole new learning experience. It would place me out of my powderpuff zone which is always a great challenge that ofttimes ends up being one of my strengths.




I am of Caucasian descent and I live in Minneapolis, MN. Here, I am exposed to culture everywhere I look. Just because I have all Caucasian family members as well as extended family, does not mean that I am only familiar with that race. I went to a very diverse soaring School and college and I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of interesting and intriguing peers.
