As a future educator, I remain everyone I work with to always be professional and intellect of the needs of the special education population. However, I know that it tycoon not always be that way but being prepared for it will help me in those situations. I actualize that not everyone can or is volition to communicate or share ideas. I also project parents and parents of different cultures dexterity have a hard time participating in their childs education, so I must be prepared to have strategies to encourage them.
The challenges I believe I will have is communicating with parents who cannot speak or run into English. I have been in situations where I needed to excuse information about their child but could not do so effectively because the parent spoke and only understand Mandarin.
However, the staff I work with helped a lot and we were fit to explain everything to the parent and answer her concerns.
While attending CSUN, I had a project to do with a group of students. It was onerous when it became a group of 2 doing the work instead of a group of 5. I had to take leadership role and permeate the workload between myself and the other student. This experience helped me realize that maculation working to achieve a common goal, shared responsibilities is intrinsic in secern for the outcome to be a victor and we did that (between me and the other student).
