In todays party we live in a country that revolves around ,mass media, which refers to any media technologies intended to reach a large audience by mass media. Media attempts to persuade, convince, and sway the actions or findings made by the frequent public. The media uses forms of entertainment, advertising, and many other stimulants to pick up an arousal from the people. This arousal influences an individuals decision to like, believe,or find enjoyment in something that the media is move to promote. Media is currently and allow continue to be a prominent feature in our society. Its purpose is to influence what is called the mass audience, pertaining to the majority of run-of-the-mill and prescript citizens living in America. In association with the mass audience is our relationship to kitsch. Examples of kitsch are easily noticed, they are things that the media portrays to the public or content created that is meant to appeal to the popular demand. An example of kitsch would be in some art work. Instead of having an artist make something aside of originality, we prefer to mass produce a remake that is unoriginal. Therefor, if the media is trying to sell something, they would sell something that the majority of people forget buy.
wheresoever there is something that involves kitsch, vulgarity also lingers. We are vulgar in the sense that we as Americans are very ordinary and deficiency creativity. We are a country of followers and consumers, so the media will always be aiming at this mass audience of ordinary people to buy into their ideas be a follower.
Media influencing the people is zero point new though, media has been persuading mass audiences for quite sometime. Where as back consequently and still today, the mass audience would have been the working, family orientated, middle physique people of America.
