This paper is going to educate one to the human immunodeficiency virus virus and the AIDS disease by look at difference between the two, how the disease is transmitted, what the human immunodeficiency virus virus does to the patients body, treatments available, and the precautions on preventing the spread of the disease.
For some, the term HIV and AIDS is the same thing. For all intents and purposes, it is. HIV is the abbreviation for pitying Immunodeficiency Virus, while AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) is the final order of the HIV virus (U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, 2010).
The HIV virus can be transmitted in mingled ways, but the most common ways of HIV creation spread is by exposed sex with multiple partners, unprotected anal retentive or vaginal sex, male unprotected anal sex with a nonher man, sharing needles or other equipment employ for illicit drugs, and being born to a mother with HIV (CDC Cener for Diseas Control, 2010).

Receiving blood transfusions, blood products, or organs that are infected with HIV, though this is really rare, because of the strict testing of blood and organ products by the U.S (CDC Cener for Diseas Control, 2010). HIV may be transmitted by unsafe or unsanitary injections, though the risk is menial because of U.S. safety standards (CDC Cener for Diseas Control, 2010).
