Edgar Allan Poe has frequently been said to be a master of the horror story. A horror story I have come cross slipway in my life is the movie, The Sixth Sense. Poes account differs from the video in many ways including the narration. The Sixth Sense is indebted(predicate) to Poe because his work helped to set the standard for horror stories throughout literary history.
The Sixth Sense is about a young boy who can see dead people, hence having a ordinal sense. Poes narration is different in many ways from the film.
Although both stories are told with English narration, Poes is written in old English which makes it harder to read while the film is told in our advance(a) English style. For this reason, the film versions narration is simpler to understand. Another difference is that Poe paints a picture for his audience with spoken communication going into the little details of what is going on at every moment of him killing the old man. While Poes narration can be very graphic, in these modern times it could be considered less graphic then forthwiths horror stories. For example, in his horror story Poe states first-year of all I dismembered the corpse. I cut off the send and the arms and the legs.
