Sixty-two years later, the Clinton government activity continued to perpetuate this New Deal myth with a postage stamp entitled, America Survives the Depression, falsely implying that the Migrant Mother was typical of Americans during the 1930s and suggesting that her survival was due to Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the New Deal, honored on two other stamps of the same series.
