Companies face umpteen regulations that the federal government enforces; depending on the type of business, different laws be expected to be followed. Non-compliance can lead to law suits, going away of earnings, media, and public scrutiny, etc. In addition, laws may also be fined if not followed. Alumina is a multi-billion dollar aluminum maker, found in the United States and operating in eight countries some the world. Even though Alumina is a global entity, 70% of their sales come from the U.S. With regard to the Environmental Protection path (EPA) Alumina falls under region six because of the temperament of their business that includes, bauxite mining, manufacturing automotive components, and aluminum smelting (University of Phoenix, 2010).

This paper will relieve how regulatory risks are identified and managed through preventive, detective, and corrective measures for a company like Alumina. This paper will also hybridise torts that were covered in our collaboration that could rescue been prevented or minimized. later reviewing the business simulation of Alumina, it is clear that the company has current tort liabilities because of a previous lawsuit, and with recent complaints, potential risks to the company have been compounded.
