Woman In Sports

We chose to do our social action project on women in sports because were all health and exercise science big league and women. The topic interested us because were passionate about sports and ultimately, we treasured to learn more about it and educate our peers about how far-off women have come in the world of sports and competition. Our poster consisted of collar parts; pre-Title IX, post-Title IX and famous woman who were extremely prospering in their sport and unfeignedly paved the way for women to repel involved and interested in sports. We included a rotary of statistics in order to show the leaps and bounds U.S women have taken to get recognized in sports. The numbers are really amazing and we can only hope that one twenty-four hours woman will out number men on the playing field.
Many people arent aware of how far woman have come since 1972, when Title IX was station into action. The text states, No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. Title IX unresolved the door to so many opportunities for woman, not only on athletic fields but also in the classroom.
