Autobiographical Interview
In my study of African American History, I discovered that my ancestors were from West Africa. They were brought from Africa in the 16th century. The surgical procedure they took to make the journey was by boat and ship. My culture is African American. My mother is twain African American, and Native American. My father is both African American, and Caucasian. I am African American I refuse to scatter myself among the races.
I believe in theology and the true fact that Jesus is the son of God. He was born(p) of the Virgin Mary died on the cross, rose the 3rd daylight morning and is now seated at the right cash in ones chips of the Father. I believe in being married until closing you depart unless one is abused physi call outy emotionally, sexually or verbally, and if divorce is in the picture stay that way. I do not believe in sex before spousal relationship and children should be conceived within the bounds of marriage not go forth of wedlock. I do not believe in a judgmental attitude because no one can behold the heart of anyone except God and every man and charwoman must stand before God for themselves. These are my heathen beliefs.
As a young girl growing up in the South I remember my parents makeing troublesome on the farm and t from each oneing me to love everyone regardless of how they whitethorn treat you. My grandmother and some of my close relatives had the same beliefs. I had one stovepipe friend other than my family and we had similar beliefs. there were ten of us children and I am the oldest of my siblings. My sisters and brothers were and continue to be, my best friends. We were taught to respect one another and do what was right toward each other. What I value most about my culture is the cogency we possess.
Being an American mean I am giving to worship God, free to go as I please, work and spend my money on what I desire, and free to call America home.
